LitBuy Tracking Not Updating: Identify the Delivery Stage

Distinguish seller-to-warehouse tracking, label creation and international delivery before deciding whom to contact.

Before treating a quiet tracking page as a lost parcel, identify which journey you are viewing. A seller sends an item to a warehouse; an international parcel may later carry several items to you. The item order and the international parcel need not share an identifier.

A Reddit buyer described a delivered scan while the order still showed a warehouse-related status. We cannot establish what happened to that order. The useful lesson is to match the destination and tracking number before comparing the screens.

Create a simple shipment record

For each tracking number, record the carrier, the destination, the order or parcel it belongs to, and the last event with its timestamp. Preserve an earlier tracking number if a later carrier supplies another one.

What you are checking What to establish
Seller to warehouse Which item order and warehouse address does this number cover?
International parcel Has the carrier recorded possession, or only shipment information?
Final delivery Is there a last-mile carrier number or a collection notice?

Do not post an unredacted label or full tracking history publicly when it exposes your address or contact details.

Interpret the carrier’s wording

UPS explains that Label Created means shipment details have been received; it does not yet establish carrier possession. Its Shipped/On the Way status indicates the parcel is in its network, and long-distance movements may have gaps between scans. An Exception is a reason to read the accompanying event detail, because the expected delivery can change.

Those are UPS definitions, not a translation of every LitBuy status. Open the named carrier’s own tracking page and look for its explanation of the actual event you see.

Ask the question that matches the stage

If domestic tracking says delivered to the warehouse, ask support to reconcile that tracking number with the item order and its intake record. If only an international label exists, ask whether handover has taken place and request the handover reference if available. If a carrier reports an exception, follow the stated action rather than assuming it is a routine delay.

A useful message contains the parcel ID, carrier, last event, timestamp and the specific mismatch. Avoid repeatedly opening unrelated tickets about the same shipment.

Choose an escalation point

Compare the event with the current service estimate and any action deadline shown by the carrier or your order. We do not prescribe a universal number of days to wait: a label-only shipment, an address exception and a missed delivery require different responses.

If tracking says delivered but the parcel is missing or damaged, use the separate delivery-evidence checklist. That is an evidence and claims problem rather than simply an absent tracking update.
